At Aluminium Dunkerque, we are committed to maintaining gender equality in the company.



Professional gender equality INDEX 2022

Since the “Avenir professionnel” Act of 5 September 2018, companies with more than 50 employees are assessed on gender equality, based on an index formalised by a score out of 100.

The score takes into account various criteria used to assess the company’s gender equality policy such as:

  • The elimination of pay gaps between women and men for comparable jobs and ages,
  • The same opportunity for pay rises for women as for men,
  • The same promotion opportunities for women as for men,
  • All employees receive a pay rise on their return from maternity or adoption leave if pay rises were given in their absence,
  • At least 4 employees of the under-represented gender in the 10 highest-paid jobs.
