In 2014, despite the many challenges and thanks to everyone’s involvement, we were able to achieve records in terms of production, efficiency and productivity.
Thanks to this positive momentum, and with the approval of the RTA Group:
the “Anodes 1650” project can be kicked off!
This investment of 8 million euros is a further mark of the confidence that the group is placing in us to prepare the future of the plant. The Group has granted us almost 100 million euros over the last 3 years.
This new investment will allow us to produce 1650 anodes, a larger anode format designed to increase our production capacity.
It completes the projects undertaken since 2013 (renovation of the Baking furnace, Albatros project in the Foundry, hexapods, etc.).
At the start of this new year, I would like to thank you all for your commitment to the plant, and for the hard work and effort you have put in despite a difficult context.
Well done to you all!
Let’s continue our efforts to make Aluminium Dunkerque the most competitive plant in Europe.
