In partnership with Aluminium Dunkerque, Dynamic Concept and Tpac are currently developing new ultrasonic inspection equipment for aluminium sheet to detect cracks that are invisible to the eye.
Today, inspection is carried out at 20 points and requires the surface of the sheet to be sanded in the areas concerned, which is very time-consuming. The device currently being developed will enable 100% of each sheet to be inspected without sanding, in a fully automated process.
