Liberty Aluminium Dunkerque hosts AgroParis Tech students

On 12 September, we hosted a group of students and teachers from AgroParis Tech, a Parisian school specialising in life sciences and the environment.

The 3rd year students, whose training focuses on risk management, wanted to see how a large production company like ours goes about managing its emissions.

Following a plant tour which gave them an insight into the aluminium manufacturing process and a real-life idea of the scale of the problem, they were able to discuss with Emilie Bridier-Jacob, the site’s Environmental Manager. Many questions were asked: risk management process, existing organisation, emissions management and control, etc.

We would like to thank Lucie Armand and Juliette Faburé, the teachers, and the group of students from the 2019-2020 DA Métatox class for their interest in learning more about our company.

We wish them every success in their studies.
